About Jim & Betsy

Bayside Cottages has welcomed guests to Orcas Island for 30+ years.

We moved to the island in 1975, and we designed and built many of the vacation cottages ourselves. We love that the cottages have introduced us to visitors from around the world, including many people who have returned for years (or even decades).

We’re lucky to wake up every day in such a beautiful place. It's a joy to see how much our guests love it here, too. We think you will feel at home on Orcas Island when you stay at Bayside Cottages.
